We’re carrying out important refurbishments at Iglu Kelvin Grove later this year.
This page is the best place to get up to date info on what’s happening.
What’s changing?
All apartment common areas will be upgraded, including kitchens, flooring, walls, and furnishings.
Air conditioning will be installed in the common areas across all apartments.
32 bathrooms (in all one-bathroom apartments) will be refurbished with new finishes, fixtures, and fittings.
When will it happen?
Works are scheduled from 17 November 2025 to 13 February 2026.
We’ve chosen this timing to avoid most of the busy study and exam periods and to align with the summer break, when many residents head home or travel.
How will this affect you?
If you’re heading away over summer:
- You’ll need to pack up your personal items and the refurbishment works will be completed while you’re gone.
- Your rent will be paused between 17 November 2025 and 13 February 2026.
If you need to stay at Iglu:
- We’ll arrange a temporary move into another apartment while the works are completed. Space is limited so let us know your plans.
